AAF Hampton Roads Brings Home 9 District Addy Awards!
March, 2011: Congratulations to all of our AAF Hampton Roads District ADDY Winners. The judges awarded AAFHR 2 Professional Gold ADDYs, 3 Professional Silver ADDYs, 2 Student Golds ADDYs and 2 Student Silver ADDYs from a total of 355 entries that were advanced from local competitions.
All three judges were extremely complimentary of the quality of work from our district. The judges included Charles Creasy. VP Creative Services for the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau, Nashville, TN, Angela Wires, Independent writer and editor from Knoxville, TN and Chris Stoltz, Senior Copywriter with Red Square Agency in Mobile, Alabama. From these winners, the following top winners were picked.
Best of Show goes to Neathawk Dubuque & Packett for The Perfect Fix Poster Campaign for The Perfect Fix (AAF Roanoke)
Special Judges Choice Award goes to Little Red Bird for Dry Fly Distilling (AAF Charlotte)
Special Judges Choice Award goes to the Brandon Agency for "Beach" for Coastal Uncorked (AAF Coastal Carolinas )
Special Judges Choice Award goes to Ferebee Lane for Le Creuset Truckette for Le Creuset of America (AAF Greenville)
Student Best of Show goes to Christian Anzola of UNCC for his Malaria Poster. (AAF Charlotte)
All Gold winners will be automatically forwarded to the AAF National competition and Silver winners will be given the opportunity to forward their silver wins to national at their expense. Congratulations again to all of our winners and good luck at the national level of competition.
