Current trends in school counseling reflect a growing desire to be more proactive and less reactive. For most school counselors, this means doing things a little different yourself - or helping colleagues in our building or across the state do so. Dr. Tim Poynton, the creator of EZAnalyze from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, has created an online survey that assesses your 'concerns' about the ASCA National Model or our state's school counseling model.
Upon completion of the survey, you are immediately provided with a customized score report explaining your results, and professional development recommendations for you to use. The data you provide are used for two purposes - to create your report, and to be used in Dr Poynton's research.
Dr. Poynton will also provide our President with an aggregate report of our responses in the summer of 2011 if more than 50 of you complete the survey.
