1. Where do you like to go to have fun?Amusement or water parks. I am scared of falling, but some reason I like the thrill of the rides (most of them anyway).
2. What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh? In April, the weekend of my cousin’s wedding. I am blessed with a close family and we always entertain each other.
3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?Hawaii, but would also like to go to England, Ireland, and Australia.
4. What is your all-time favorite comedy movie?Sixteen Candles… a more recent movie, The Hangover
5. What is your happiest childhood memory? Not sure if it is my happiest, but most memorable was when my family took a 3 week camping trip through the Rocky Mountains, YellowstoneNational Park, and the Grand Teton. It wasn’t always fun, but it was definitely an adventure.
6. What song always makes you happy when you hear it? I like a lot of different songs, depends on the mood. I am a product of the 80’s, several of the songs from that era make me smile.
7. What was your favorite sitcom growing up?Family Ties, Night Court
8. What favorite food puts you in a great mood? Ice cream, almost any flavor.
9. Who’s the funniest person you know?I have several friends that make me laugh and put me in a good mood whenever I see them, I can’t choose just one.
10. What was the best vacation you ever had? 2000, a cruise to Cozumel, Grand Caymen, & Jamaica
11. What is one thing that people may be surprised to know about you? I usually like to watch sports but last year I took up running for the first time in honor of my mom. On June 3rd, I am going to run my 3rd half marathon (not sure if I am ambitious or crazy).
12. What is the motto you live by? Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick… your friends will, so stay in touch.
13. What do you enjoy most about being a member of ASHRM? I love the networking. So many members have helped me grow my career with the sharing of ideas, experiences, and knowing I am not the only one that has crazy employee stories.
14. What is your favorite thing about working in Human Resources? When I can help an employee and they are appreciative (or at least understand the reasoning).
