The May general meeting features several local finance experts who will give us their recent experience and opinion on financing in tody's real estate market. We expect to learn how to find the money needed to finance the deals we're finding in the investment real estate market. The June General Meeting will be a big one Tony Youngs, Foreclosure Expert. Tony teaches that there are eight ways to create profit from properties going through the foreclosure process. He demonstrates numerous techniques for buying these properties in each category, and how to deal with bankruptcy in the foreclosure process. In addition, Tony has been collecting data at the foreclosure auctions making notes on what they sell for and how many go back to the lenders. Then tracks them for up to a year to see how much the lenders lose on these homes. This data has catapulted his negotiating power with lenders for discounting before and after the auction. The details are astonishing. Tony still actively visits approximately 40 properties in foreclosure per month, tracking and acquiring some at each stage of the foreclosure process. The July General Meeting will be a panel discussion of local real estate experts. These people range from local real estate franchise owners to local, seasoned investors and some newer investors who have become successful in their own niche. We have a wide variety of personalities, experiences and outlooks to help members and guests build their own perspective about what they expect to learn and DO with their real estate career in Southeastern NC. Please come prepared to ask questions and participate. This is our chance to put your questions on the table and see if you can figure out how to be successful in real estate.
