Women's Health Series- Coral Surgeon, M.D., FACOG & Oona Lim, M.D., FACOG Wednesday, July 29, 2009
Oona Lim, M.D., FACOG & Coral Surgeon, M.D., FACOG & are physicians with Women Gynecology and Childbirth Associates, P.C. Dr. Surgeon received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Buffalo in 1980 where she also received a National Medical Fellowship. Oona Lim, M.D., FACOG is a 1995 graduate of the medical school at SUNY Buffalo where she received the Outstanding Medical Graduate in Obstetrics and Gynecology Award from the faculty at the University. She obtained her undergraduate degree in 1991 from Cornell University. These doctors will be discussing OBGyn applications of the daVinci Surgical System, a robotic surgical tool designed to enhance surgical procedures. (more...)

Mount Hope Cemetery Tour Thursday, July 30, 2009
Join RWN on Thursday, July 30th, for an historic 90 minute walking tour of Mount Hope Cemetery, led by the Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery. We will start the evening with casual networking at the Distillery on Mt. Hope Ave @ 5:30pm, then continue to the cemetery's North Gate House shortly before 7pm to begin the tour. Women's Health Series- Donald J. Capuano MD FACS Wednesday, August 26, 2009
Dr. Donald J. Capuano, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Medical Director of Plastic Cosmetic & Restorative Surgery, PLLC, will give an overview of different procedures that are available to enhance your look including an overview of invasive and non-invasive procedures as well as new directions in the field of cosmetic enhancements. Dr. Capuano will also discuss skin care, including skin cancer prevention, anti-aging, products and skin care regimens. This program is part of a three part Women's Health Series. Participants have the option of registering for all three programs by June 19, 2009 by choosing Women's Health Series- Three Part Series from the Event Calendar or registering for individual program(s) by choosing the individual program(s) they wish to attend from the Event Calendar. Commemorate Rochester’s 175th Anniversary on the Mary Jemison Thursday, September 17, 2009
Corn Hill Navigation is offering the Rochester Women’s Network a special private preview of their new narrative that will focus on current and future development of the Genesee River and Erie Canal in Rochester. This unique new narrative is the product of several months of research and interviews from not only public and private sources, but members of the local neighborhoods. It will be launched publicly during their Coming Home celebration September 26-October 11. (more...)
