Focus seasonal energy and ride the wave of momentumWhile most of you have worked hard and smart over the year, something at year-end seems different. The holidays are in full force just when the business world intensifies focus on end-of-year numbers and the bottom line. Nothing rivals the feel of your pulse when you are focused, sharp and full of creative energy and riding a wave of productivity. Take this opportunity to ensure that those around you are also riding the wave and keep the momentum going.
The season is an opportunity to maximize your time and receive optimal results regardless of your business. Revitalize work processes and methods to minimize holiday distractions. Identify and seize meaningful ways to sharpen your skills.Going above and beyond your normal, day-to-day performance inspires others. Take time to mentor a younger or newer co-worker. Congratulate a co-worker on an innovative solution to a problem. Keep the momentum going by finishing a project ahead of time. You never know when a teammate simply needs a little encouragement to get a project going. Take the time to let co-workers know they are doing a good job and that their contributions are noticed. Those around you will feel the energy and pass it along. With a bright team attitude, you will not only strive to get the work done, but also will get it done well. As an added bonus, such an attitude will do wonders for morale.
