Getting Started

We have decided to select RunMyClub for our member management and event registration provider. How do we get started?

  • Getting Started is very easy. Check out our Account Sign-up page. Fill out the form and a RunMyClub consultant will walk you through the process!

How quickly can we get “up and running” with RunMyClub?

  • You can get RunMyClub up and running very quickly. Technical setup of the system on our end takes one day. We will work closely with your current web master to ensure a speedy and reliable integration into your current site. If you need a website we can custom design one or we can provide basic customization using your brand colors and logo throughout the site that your members will be able to recognize as your organization.

What is the typical process for going live with RunMyClub?

  • Going live with RunMyClub requires the following: We make sure your RunMyClub pages are seamlessly integrated into your organization's website. Once you approve the site, we train your officers & help you update content & data needed by the system (i.e.: membership types, events, etc...). You may then import members and non-members directly to your system. You use the system to send a welcome email to members which triggers a personalized follow-up email to be delivered to each member containing their unique username and password into your site. That is it! Four easy steps!

Can we use our own merchant account?

  • You may use your own merchant account if your current provider and processor allows for operation through www.AuthorizeNet.com. If you need to change or set-up a merchant account, INSite Business Solutions (RunMyClub’s development partner) is a reseller of merchant and gateway accounts and can help you setup a merchant account for your organization. Please review our pricing page for more details regarding merchant accounts.

Do we get training with the RunMyClub service?

  • You do get training with the RunMyClub service. After the system is integrated into your site a RunMyClub consultant will conduct a training session for you and any other officers helping to administer the system. In fact, we can provide support at any time you feel assistance is needed. Check out our Contact (link) page for more details.

What type of support is offered to us once we sign on with RunMyClub?

  • RunMyClub support specialists can always be contacted by phone or email. Visit our Contact page for more details. You can also sign up for our eTips newsletter for tips on how to organize and motivate your chapter or club for success.

We already have a chapter website. Can you host a site that already exists?

  • RunMyClub can host an existing website. In fact, we can integrate our Content Management System (CMS) into your existing site so you can make content updates from anywhere you have Internet access! Check out our hosting services for more information.

What is the monthly cost of RunMyClub for our organization?

  • Monthly cost of RunMyClub includes the Membership Management, Event Management, Broadcast Communication and Report features for a low monthly fee that is based on the number of members in your organization. You may have an unlimited number of non-member/contacts at no additional charge. Website & email hosting, and our content management system are provided for an additional flat monthly fee.

I am not a technical expert. How easy is it to use RunMyClub as an administrator?

  • RunMyClub is easy to use. We provide the backoffice forms and database functionality that enable those who do not have programming or HTML knowledge to become proficient administrators. All you need is basic computer skills and access to the Internet!

What is offered in the Free Trial?

  • A Free Trial offers Membership Management, Event Management and Broadcast Communication features for up to 250 members. The Free Trial excludes the use of RunMyClub’s financial features. You may upload members, announce events, allow event sign up and send emails to your members. You will not be able to accept payment for membership or event registration until you purchase the RunMyClub system.

How does the Demo work?

  • The RunMyClub Demo allows you to explore a sample organization site and test out the features firsthand. You can create events, add members and setup emails to see how the website works. However, info that you enter into the Demo will not be saved. Security (The items below are also (duplicated) above the Security node. Those currently below the Security node need to be deleted.)

How secure is the RunMyClub system?

  • RunMyClub is very secure. We employ advanced encryption technologies from Thawte to encrypt all credit card and personal data transacted via our system. Even though RunMyClub uses credit card numbers to provide e-commerce functionality, the full credit card numbers are not stored in our database. In addition, access is strictly limited to the important information your members provide for your organization to operate effectively.

Will RunMyClub sell or use our organization’s data?

  • RunMyClub will NEVER rent or sell lists of our client's personal information. We will not use personal information collected during registrations for solicitations. INSite Business Solutions (RunMyClub’s development partner) does not collect any personal information for its own use, but rather passes the information provided during the registration process to our client organization. If you have further questions regarding our privacy practices, please visit our Privacy page.

I am concerned about my data being out on the Internet. How secure is my data?

  • RunMyClub considers the security of systems and the storing of client member and non-member information data to be of paramount importance and adhere to strict credit card processing security rules and policies. If you have access to the Internet from the computer that stores your current organization management system, your data is already on the Internet and is vulnerable. It is our belief that your data is safer with us than stored on your computer. Consider this analogy: You take your life savings to a place build to protect money instead of stuffing it in a mattress. Our servers are behind state of the art firewalls, monitored 7 x 24 x 365. We provide a level of protection and management that organizations could never individually manage or afford.

Security

How secure is the RunMyClub system?

  • Very! We employ advanced encryption technologies from Thawte to encrypt all credit card and personal data transacted via our system. Even though RunMyClub uses credit card number to provide e-commerce functionality, we do not store full credit card numbers in our database. In addition, very few employees within our company actually have access to the important contact information your members provide for your organization to operate effectively.

Will RunMyClub sell or use our organizationʼs data?

  • No. We will not rent or sell lists of our client's personal information to anyone. We will not use personal information collected during registrations for solicitations. INSite Business Solutions does not collect any personal information for its own use, but rather passes the information provided during the registration process to our client organization.
