Description
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for providing professional HR support to staff and management in various areas of the business. The Human Resources Specialist will perform human resources related duties in functional areas such as recruitment/employment, employee relations, training, HRIS, and special projects. This individual will assist the department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees. The Human Resources Representative will partner with employees and management to communicate various human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.

Provide effective coaching and training to internal customer base. Demonstrates the ability to influence, negotiate and provide effective counsel on issues.
Facilitate the gathering of employee feedback in multiple formats including employee meetings, and other miscellaneous avenues
Coordinate and conduct New Hire Orientation
Maintains HRIS records and compiles EEO and AAP reports as needed.
Assist with the coordination the employment function for designated areas of the business.
Participate in broader strategic initiatives (i.e. compensation strategies, new policy development, training manuals, etc.)
Exhibit professional conduct in all business relationships, actions and communications.
Abide by ATC's health and safety policies and procedures.
Position Requirements
Basic qualifications:

Bachelors Degree with 2-5 years of broad generalist experience with strong knowledge of in Recruiting and Employee Relations
Must be proficient in MS Office and Internet
Desired qualifications:

Experience with ADP products strongly desired (Reportsmith, ADP Enterprise)
Prior Corporate Human Resources experience is preferred
Knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws
Strong communication skills required, verbal, written and interpersonal; with employees, management, vendors and candidates.
Strong team player who will take initiative and add value to the HR Team.
Able to objectively listen/coach employees and management through issues, while maintaining confidentiality and handling high level information in daily operations.
Resourceful in solving problems with a focus on quick intervention and issue resolution.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
