Job Description

· Administers, HR, Payroll and Benefits for 100 employees located in Louisiana
· Responds to inquiries from outside entities such as government agencies, benefits providers,
audits, workers comp, etc.
· Plans, organizes, and executes activities of the Louisiana offices for open enrollment, service
awards, and other celebrations
· Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems in line with the company
vision and strategic goals.
· Updates job descriptions as necessary
· Consults on updated personnel policies and procedures
· Works with TPA to administer COBRA for the Louisiana locations
· Works with Sr. HR Manager and VP, HR on recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt
personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career
pathing program, light employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing;
writes and places advertisements.
· Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff
meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.
· Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in
efficiency of department and services performed.
· Enters payroll information for roll-up and assists with payroll conversions or mergers as necessary.
· Performs various human resources processes and procedures for all company personnel.
· Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.


· A bachelor's degree and five (5) years' Human Resources experience, or eight (8) years’ experience
in the HR field,
· Any appropriate combination of education and experience
· Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
Likely no more than one night each month, and generally a one-day or two-day trip to Louisiana.
