The office of Dr. Maria Doucet is looking for a full time practice manager. The perfect candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, the ability to oversee a busy and growing ENT practice while uniting office staff and help to coordinate the transition to a new electronic medical records software system. Having a love for social media marketing would be a huge plus and being computer savvy is a must.
Responsibilities and Duties
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise office staff. • Hire, terminate, and train staff in a medical office. • Oversee billing, coding, and collections. • Maintain medical records. • Marketing and advertising for the office. • Reconcile account information. • Pay medical office bills. • Order medical and office supplies. • Process company's response to claims. • Delegate responsibilities, as appropriate • Assess employee performance. • Develop and implement office policies and procedures. • Formulate objectives and processes. • Generate inventory records. • Provide educational material for patients.
Qualifications and Skills: At least 1 year of management experience with Payroll, Human Resources, Credentialing, Budgeting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and all aspects of medical office management. A strong background in coding and billing is preferred. A bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field is required.
