Liskow & Lewis, a regional law firm with offices in Houston, New Orleans, and Lafayette firm is seeking a full-time Office Manager to support operations of the Lafayette office alongside the firm’s Administrative group. Three to five years’ experience preferred. Candidates should apply via e-mail at email@example.com.
Responsibilities: • Work with Administration to coordinate staff recruiting and onboarding • Coordinate staffing coverage for twenty employees including intermittent back-up for the receptionist and office assistants • Assist with marketing/business development efforts with the firm’s marketing department • Client and office event planning to include researching venues, vendors, coordinating rentals and set-ups, caterers, etc. both in the office and off-site for office and client events • Work with building lessor/management on property matters • Manage and reconcile local bank accounts specific to the Lafayette office • Coordinate wire transfers for closings Qualifications: • Experience as an Office Manager or Coordinator, preferably with another professional services firm • Ability to deal professionally and communicate clearly and concisely with attorneys, staff and clients • Ability to be flexible, handle pressure and adapt to changing work priorities, work flow and work assignments • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Highly organized and strong attention to detail • Ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate client and attorney needs • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
