Responsibilities include but are not limited to: (List duties or tasks critical to success)
Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and procedures Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, health and safety, etc. Support the human factor in the Company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training, development, etc. Develop departmental goals, objectives and systems Manage and supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance Maintain favorable and effective relations among employees; ensure all levels of management effect consistent, equal and fair treatment of employees Provide Company policy interpretation and guidance to employees and leadership Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards Manage data, record-keeping and reporting processes to ensure regulatory compliance Prepare for and respond to legislative changes Address grievances and violations involving disciplinary action when required Anticipate and resolve litigation risks Participate and advise as necessary in the merger and acquisition activities of the Company Establish procedures for the integration of new and transferred employees Analyze employee-related trends to develop solutions, programs and policies as needed Work with all levels of management to remain informed of goals and initiatives and to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity through labor management processes Other duties as required Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in human resources, business administration or relevant field Master’s Degree would be a plus- SPHR certification highly desired. 10+ years proven experience as HR Director for a large corporation Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations for all 50 states. Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element Knowledge of data analysis and reporting Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
Technical Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office Knowledge of Title VII, NLRA, ADA, ADEA, EPA, FMLA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and other labor, health plan and benefit-related regulations Experience with ADP Vantage preferred
