|Boy are we glad to be home! All of our plane rides were good and we avoided the typhoon completely. Elisabeth was pretty good on most of the flights but she had her screaming moments here and there. Ansley was very excited to be home and has been non-stop ever since. She just crashed on the den floor a little while ago and is now sleeping away. John and I took short naps this afternoon to try and rejuvenate ourselves so we can stay up until it's time to go to bed. We want to get back on the right day and time as soon as possible.
The flights back were rough since we had an infant with us this time. We had bulk head seats on the plane and had a bassinett that attaches to the wall. That was a life saver. We were able to put Elisabeth in there to sleep so we could have our hands free. I don't know what we would have done if we had to hold her in our lap the entire flight.
Elisabeth has cried alot since we've been home. I think the trip wore her out and all the new faces, sights and smells have taken their toll on her. Hopefully she will adjust quickly.
I hope to put some homecoming pictures in the homecoming section soon. Check back in a day or two.
