Screening of Stella's Last Weekend, & Interview of Polly Draper

Monday, November 05, 2018

Filmmaker & actress Polly Draper has been paving the way for females in the field for decades. She wrote, directed and stars in her next film, STELLA'S LAST WEEKEND, (view the trailer here), in select theaters October 12th.

Known to many as the Emmy-nominated star of, THIRTYSOMETHINGthe popular TV drama of the 80’s, Draper went on to write, direct and produce Nickelodeon’s THE NAKED BROTHERS BAND, starring her two sons, Nat Wolff & Alex Wolff, and featuring her husband as co-ep and music advisor. The series became one of the most successful ever on Nickelodeon.

In similar fashion, STELLA'S LAST WEEKEND also stars her real-life sons, Nat Wolff & Alex Wolff, who have made their own successful careers since the success of Naked Brothers.

After the series wrapped, Draper kept busy, working on Broadway and off-Broadway, writing scripts, and appearing in films such as Obvious Child and Side Effects.

STELLA’S LAST WEEKEND is a sweet family story about brothers Jack (Nat) and Oliver (Wolff) who reunite at their childhood home to put their beloved dog, Stella, to sleep. While their unconventional mother (Draper) plans an extravagant party in celebration of Stella's life, Jack and Oliver are blindsided when they discover they are both in love with the same girl.

Currently, Draper resides in New York with her husband, her two sons, and their adopted dog, Stella (also featured in the movie!).

The event will include a screening of the film, Stella's Last Weekend, followed by an in person interview of Polly Draper.

The event will reach capacity quickly.  Early RSVPs are suggest here.
